Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia

The goal of our lab’s research is the successful treatment and prevention of chronic insomnia.  A current study, funded by CIHR, aims to investigate the efficacy of an evidence-based, frontline treatment for insomnia: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).  Specifically, we are comparing long-term outcomes of individuals with insomnia who have received CBT-I compared to those with past insomnia and those with good sleep.
