Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

TBI refers to an acute injury to the brain. These injuries are different to typical acute injuries, since they do not only affect a localized area, but also an individual’s mentation. These injuries may be mild or severe in nature and can cause long term changes and impairment of an individual’s cognition. We are currently reviewing different types of treatment for mild TBI and investigating neuropsychological test predictors of driving abilities post-TBI.
