We are currently recruiting children ages 4 to 10 from Toronto and surrounding areas. If you are interested in having your child participate in a study, please contact us by filling out this form or via email at ecclab@ryerson.ca. Please include the following information in your message (all of which will be kept confidential):
Your child’s name, date of birth, & gender
Your e-mail address & phone number
Your preferred method of contact
Please note that signing up your child does not obligate you to participate in any studies; it just gives us a way to let you know when your child is eligible for a particular study that you might be interested in.
Studies Now Running Online!
We are now running most of our studies online to supplement in person testing! Participating in an online study is simple and comes in three steps!
- Get in contact with our researchers and book a time
- Fill out some online forms, including consent information and demographics
- Join a video conference call via Zoom and take part in the study!
During the Zoom call, you and your child will meet with a researcher. Most of our studies involve the researcher sharing their screen and presenting stimuli (audio, video, images) to your child. The researcher will then ask questions about your child’s thoughts about what they have seen.
