Check out the incredible Psychology’s Feminist Voices project, directed by Alexandra Rutherford, professor in the History and Theory of Psychology graduate program at York University!

The project includes an oral history program, begun in 2004, that documents the diverse perspectives, lives, careers, and contributions of feminist psychologists from across the globe – including SHiFT lab director, Dr. Maria Gurevich.

The site is a rich multimedia digital archive that preserves and shares the narratives of feminists who have shaped the field of psychology. To date, the PFV team has conducted over 120 interviews, written 250 profiles, produced a documentary – The Changing Face of Feminist Psychology – and developed timelines, bibliographies, and teaching resources!
