Amelia Usher received her PhD in psychology from Ryerson University. Her dissertation examined intervention programs for children of substance abusing parents. Her research interests include mental health and addictions, women and families, program evaluation, and qualitative methods. From 2015-2016, Amelia worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Dr. Karen Milligan on the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Families research study, examining integrated programs for pregnant and parenting women with addictions. Amelia currently works as a Research Advisor with the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services.
