Melissa graduated with a B.A (Hons.) in Psychology at Ryerson University. She was an undergraduate thesis student in the Child Self-Regulation Lab, evaluating the impact of Integra’s Mindfulness Martial Arts (MMA)™  program on attention and impulse control in children with learning disabilities and ADHD. As the research coordinator, she assisted in evaluating Integra MMA™  using EEGs, and served as the primary contact for the lab. In 2016 Melissa began attending Wilfrid Laurier University for a Master’s of Social Work degree.
