Natalie Besharat completed her undergraduate honours thesis in 2016 on the impact of mindfulness martial arts on the attribution styles of youth with learning disabilities. After graduating with her honours BA in psychology, Natalie pursued training at the Center for mindfulness studies and is a certified mindfulness based stress reduction facilitator that is trained in mindfulness based cognitive therapy. She is now pursuing a master of science degree in paediatric psychosocial care at McMaster University and will be registering with the college of registered psychotherapists to work with children and families. Natalie has hope that she  will pursue doctoral training in clinical psychology in the future.
