Mariah has an honours bachelor degree from Laurentian University, with a specialization in Psychology and a minor in Indigenous Studies. She is pursuing a Masters degree in Psychological Science at Ryerson and will be joining the Cognitive Aging Lab in September 2019. Her research interests involve cognition, in particular with the effects of stress, emotion, and aging. When she is not in school, she is camping with her Girl Guide troop in Northern Ontario, volunteering in the community, and working as a Science Demonstrator at Science North.
