Welcome to the Child Self-Regulation Lab!
Our lab undertakes research in partnership with community organizations and members to promote the self-regulation and well-being of children, parents, and families. Our work takes place in treatment centres, schools, and other places that provide opportunities to better the lives of children and their parents. We take a strengths-based approach, with an emphasis on seeing what is going well and how to build on strengths by tailoring our understanding of children and families and how communities go about supporting them.
Our team includes researchers, post-doctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students, and research volunteers. Community members and knowledge users are also central to our work and we could not do it without them!
