In October, the ECC lab had the opportunity to present two posters: “Children’s Attitudes Toward Gossipers” and “Young Children’s Resistance to Misinformation: The Effects of Executive Functions and Interviewer Rapport Building”. Additionally, PhD Student Kathryn Harper, held a research talk for “The Effect of Perceived Threat to Freedom of Choice on Children’s Preference for Scarcity” at the biennial Cognitive Development Society conference, in Portland, Oregon.
