I am a PhD student in Ryerson’s Clinical Psychology program, under supervision of Dr. Naomi Koerner. I joined the IMPACT Lab in April of 2020 as a volunteer assessor and therapist. My research interests are cognitive factors that maintain excessive and chronic worry, as well as interventions that target worry. I am especially interested in intolerance of uncertainty and rash impulsive action seen in people who worry pathologically. Clinically I have training in using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Processing Therapy, and have experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
