Psychology Graduate Research Symposium

The PGSA is excited to invite you to our 7th Annual Research Symposium!

When: Friday October 30th, 2015 @ 12:00pm

Where: Sears Atrium, 3rd floor, ENG building, 245 Church Street

We are excited to be joined by our guest speaker, Dr. Joel Katz, who will discuss his renowned work on the effects and processes of pain and its interventions in a variety of populations. Dr. Katz is a Professor and the director of the Human Pain Mechanisms Lab at York University. He is also Canada’s Research Chair in Health Psychology.

Dr. Katz’s talk will be followed by lab and student oral presentations. We will close out the afternoon with the student poster session, which will take place at the Psychology Research and Training Centre (SBB, 105 Bond St.). This is a great opportunity to share with the department what you’ve been working on as well as to get new ideas for future studies.

Food and beverages will be provided.
