About Us

The Psychology Graduate Students Association (PGSA) is a student run group that represents the interests of psychology graduate students within the Ryerson community. The PGSA plays an integral role in distinguishing Ryerson’s psychology graduate program from other programs.

The PGSA is one of the most active graduate student associations on campus. The PGSA organizes numerous educational events, including orientations for new students, seminars, and workshops. In addition, the PGSA hosts the annual Research Symposium featuring a presentation by a leading researcher in the field. The Research Symposium is also designed to showcase student research conducted within the department. The PGSA also coordinates social events, such as pub nights and the annual Holiday party, in order to provide opportunities for psychology graduate students to network. Finally, the PGSA holds various fundraising events to support the group’s activities.
