Position(s): Volunteer Research Assistant (Part-Time transcriptionist) for the “Crossover Youth Project Evaluation”.
Description of the project: The purpose of the study is to investigate the impact of a pilot project entitled The Crossover Youth Project (COYP). The COYP is designed to improve the legal and social services received by crossover youth (young people who are dually-involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems). The evaluation will assess the activities and services provided by the COYP and their immediate, short-term, and long-term effects. As part of the evaluation, we will be collecting audio-recorded interview data from all the key stakeholders and participants of the program (approximately 30-40 individuals). We are seeking a volunteer to help with the verbatim transcription of these interviews.
Research Assistant duties and Qualifications. The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible for the accurate transcription of recorded interview data. The candidate should have strong writing skills, keen attention to detail, and high concern for data accuracy. No previous experience necessary.
