Susan Chow (she/her), BA in Psychology in progress (Ryerson University, anticipated 2022) is currently a Research Assistant Volunteer at the SHiFT Lab. She is interested in examining research through a feminist post-structuralist and social constructionist framework. Particularly the ways heteronormative discourses influence women’s sexual entrepreneurship, desires and subjectivities and the active negotiation of casual sex. She is also passionate about comprehensive and accessible sexual and reproductive health care. In the future, she plans to attend graduate school within the counselling and psychotherapy field and wishes to specialize in sexual diversity studies.
