Tristan D’Cruz, B.A (Ryerson University, 2020) is a Bachelor of Arts Ryerson alumni and volunteer at the SHiFT lab under the current supervision of Stephanie Cosma. His research interests include: the interpretation of  psychological data through a critical lens, the deconstruction and reconstruction of discourses regarding “toxic masculinity’, and a desire to shed light upon the existence of “good” fathers. Currently, Tristan is not conducting research, however, he would like to conduct a study in regards to the existing discourses and relationships relating to masculinity and fatherhood; while further documenting mothers’ and childrens’ perceptions of “good” paternal parenting.
