Julia has recently graduated from Ryerson’s Psychology program, with a minor in Music and Culture, as well as a minor in Sociology. She plans to continue her education, pursuing a graduate degree in Psychology, and obtain clinical training to treat those who struggle with memory deficits. As of March 2017, Julia has acted as a Research Assistant in the Cognitive Aging Lab. She has gained experience in recruitment, assays testing, study designing using E-prime, participant testing, and data analysis through SPSS. During her final year at Ryerson, Julia completed an undergraduate research study and is working on manuscript writing. Her research interests include memory, clinical gerontology, and the effect of music on cognition/memory. Outside of the lab, Julia enjoys creating music, baking, and spending time with loved ones.
